I offer a comprehensive service which is tailored to the needs of individual familes during an initial consultation which takes place at your home. This consultation is free of charge and lasts around an hour. I would of course be delighted to receive your booking should you choose to employ the services of Harmonious Birth. My service includes unlimited telephone and email support along side home visits and attending your birth.
Birth Doula Service
As your Birth Doula I would offer holitic support physically, emotionally and spiritually in the antenatal period and during the birth of your child. A birth Doula package will include three antenatal visits to discuss:
- Your Pregnancy so far
- Possibilities for Birth
- Produce a Birth Plan
- Antenatal Education
- Information Sharing
- Attendance for the duration of your birth (No matter how long).
- A chance for us to get to know each other.
The fee for this service is currently £150.00.
As your Birth Doula I will ensure I will be available for your birth, providing an on-call service for the two weeks either side of your due date.
Birth Doulas are trained and experienced in childbirth. They have a good knowledge and awareness of female physiology but a Doula is not a healthcare professional. Postnatal Doula Service Postnatal Doulas offer practical and emotional support to you and your new family after the birth of your new baby. With the help of a Postnatal Doula a mother can take time to bond with her baby and relax, spending time with older siblings. A Postnatal Doula will work flexible hours to suit the family. Our work is about empowering a family to take care of itself and we facilitate this by helping around the house, offering encouragement, suggestions and childcare.
