Our Clients I believe that all women deserve a doula, Regardless of age, income marital status or sexual orientation
Families who employ doulas all have their own reasons for doing so but in particular a doula may be helpful if:
- This is your first baby
- You may previously have had a poor birthing / parenting experience.
- You may be attempting a vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC).
- You or your partner may feel the need for more support.
- You may be hoping to achieve a Home Birth.
- You may have no family or friends living nearby to offer support.
- You may have experienced a complicated pregnancy.
As a member of Doula UK, I am able to access a charitable fund to pay for Birth Doula services for families who feel they would benefit from having a Doula, but may not be able to commit financially thus ensuring that everyone who would like a Doula can hopefully access this support.
